Vitamin D Blood Levels  (25D in ng/mL)

                                                                   every winter

Be careful !

There are 2 different systems for reporting 25D levels

.

One uses nanograms per milliliter or ng/mL

.

The other uses nanomoles per liter or nmol/L

.

They are NOT the same. For example, 20 ng/mL = 50 nmol/L

.

If you read a paper using the nmol/L, their numbers will look high

.

Divide the nmol/L by 2.5 to get 25D into the ng/mL system that I use exclusively in my videos.

YOUR risk for low vitamin D levels? ( below 30 ng/mL )
The percentage of low D in each sub-group of Americans:

.

                    95%  of  African-Americans

                    87%  of  Hispanic-Americans

                    80%  of  obese Americans

76%  of  all Americans (average for total US population)

63%  of  European-Americans  (also called Caucasian or "white")

.

Notice that:

Cancers make up nearly a third of these diseases

Immune system diseases make up another third of them - they include: all auto-immune diseases, all infections, allergies and asthma

.

.

Heart disease, diabetes, and nerve/brain issues dominate the other third

.

These are all common modern-day problems that are both costly financially and with significant negative impacts on families and individuals.

.

To some degree, higher 25D levels may either prevent many of these diseases or considerably lessen their severity should they develop
